# anymd

> anymd is the web context layer for AI agents: it reads public web content, normalizes it into structured Markdown, remembers what matters in a private searchable library, and makes it available anywhere through MCP, API and CLI.

Agents read public web content through anymd as structured Markdown and recall it later from a private library. Quick read: prefix a link, `https://md.harnesskit.cc/<url>` returns `text/markdown`; add `?format=json` for JSON. MCP: `https://md.harnesskit.cc/mcp` with the `read_url` and `search_library` tools. Every page on this site has a Markdown twin — append `.md` to its URL.
